Alice B. restaurant and bar from award-winning chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken combines Southern California’s incredible seasonal bounty with Mediterranean-leaning flavors. The culinary vision is a collaborative effort between Feniger, Milliken and acclaimed Executive Chef Lance Velasquez.

This unique dining experience is located at Living Out, a luxury resort-style LGBTQ+ active senior community surrounded by spectacular mountain views. Inspired by the extraordinary life of Alice B. Toklas and her life partner Gertrude Stein, the restaurant establishes a vibrant space where culinary excellence, art, and community converge seamlessly.

We offer indoor & outdoor seating, plus bar seating. Join us for dinner starting at 4PM. Join us for Brunch on Sun from 10AM - 2PM & live music on select nights.

Mary Sue Milliken & Susan Feniger are the founders of Mundo Hospitality Group, including Border Grill, Pacha Mamas, BBQ Mexicana, SOCALO, and most recently Alice B.

    The food is great. Service this time was somewhat lacking the usual excellent experience. They moved the piano closer th the dining room which made it unbearable as it is normally loud. So we sat outside which they have enhanced with a cool mural. ….. but the lighting is tragic with the tall parking, entrance fixtures. Perhaps a shade of some sort would moderate that but as it is, bad ambiance for sure

    Very nice but absolutely terrible waitress. No sense to timing of food delivery or any recommendations. I completely finished my meal before my spouse received his. Acknowledged error but no apology. Food was fine but SO LOUD and we were outside. Not recommend and not going back. Very disappointing.

    Have tried Alice B several times. The food is good. Though not worth the price. The noise level is intolerable. You can hardly hear the person sitting next to you. Service is average. Would expect more for a 3 person $400 meal.

    Cool experience, loved the place, very nicely painted. Great options and pasta of the day was fantastic. The chips as an appetizer were great too, just the right amount of salty. Very pet friendly, brought my Saint Bernard to the outside area and was welcomed.

    The menu is diverse and everything is delicious. Creative cocktails and excellent service complete the experience. The main room is loud however, so if you want to carry on a conversation, book at table in the lounge area. Highly recommend all the way around.

    Overall, a very good expeience. The waiter was attentive and the food delicious. However the noise level is so high you can barely talk across the table with each other. If you are looking for quiet romantic, this is not the place. Parking can be difficult here so I highly recommend the complimentary valet!

    Vibe was off last night. Why would you sit a large party by the piano player? Service was lacking sadly. Hi, didnt spend a ton of money to wait 10 min for my who table to get forks.
