Alo is an intimate contemporary French restaurant located atop a heritage building in downtown Toronto. Our cuisine is internationally inspired and celebrates the finest in seasonal ingredients paired with a genuine sense of welcome, served as a blind tasting menu by Chef Patrick Kriss.

The Bar at Alo is adjacent to our main dining room and offer à la carte options as well as a shortened seasonal tasting menu.

Alo is outfitted with a private dining room which can welcome parties up to 14 guests.

The Kitchen Counter offers a blind multi-course tasting menu, including luxurious menu items and special courses from our Chefs. Alo's private dining room, equipped with its own bar and kitchen, offers a six-course tasting-menu for up to 14 guests. This unique dining experience begins with a cocktail reception featuring a glass of sparkling wine and a trio of canapés. The pricing for this experience is $295 per guest exclusive of beverages, HST & 20% service charge. Wine pairings are available for an additional $125 per guest. Our private dining room is also available to be booked for lunches. We came in somewhat skeptical after feeling underwhelmed with Alobar and Alouette but Alo impressed on all fronts. Alo had incredibly friendly and effective serving staff and noise was kept to a comfortable conversational volume. The food was incredible and service was timed impeccably so you never felt that you were waiting nor rushed. There were zero misses with the plates and at least half of them will go down as all time favourites for myself. The seafood dishes in particular (of which there were many) were well balanced with exceptionally high quality ingredients. 10/10 I plan on going again in the future.

Had an absolutely amazing time at Alo, everyone on the staff was incredibly kind and professional. Loved being able to get a little insight into seeing the kitchen work and all of the attention to detail everybody focuses on each dish. Yes it is a tad expensive to eat here but worth every single penny
