   Great service, very loud atmosphere , food was good, but overpriced. They need to turn down the music so guests don’t have to raise their voices to have a conversation. We were disappointed given the hype for this restaurant. Won’t be back.

   I was disappointed with the food. When we got to the restaurant, the waiter said that we had to wait 40 minutes for the main course, which was beef tenderloin. We proceeded to order appetizers and my friend got a Caesar salad with parmesan cheese that was overflowing on the plate with bites of bacon that were greasy and unappetizing. My friend did not like the salad but I did enjoy the dressing and the hearts of lettuce. We ordered the tenderloin steaks and we had to send it back to get re-heated. The waiter was kind enough to bring out a new basket of french fries with the heated up steak. I ordered an appetizer with caviar and fish and that was amazing, very tasty and different. Great flavours. The music was much too loud. I have been to many Michelin Star restaurants, but Alobar does not meet the standards I was expecting. The service was excellent!

   Alobar Yorkville is one of the best places to dine in Yorkville. The ambiance, the service and delicious dishes are always exceptional. The cocktails and ever growing wine list is also very notable. One of my favourite places in the city.

   We had a table and the noise level was off the charts. Music too loud - couldn’t hear at all Prices over the top - not sure we would go back

   All is terrible all of them…. Hated the first same fish made 4 different ways. Came to Alo bar came for 5:30 spent 1450 on food and drinks then told me I have to leave by 7:45 what the hell??? Over rated garbage

   Good evening, Roland. We do our best to make our dining times transparent and honest in our booking policy as they;rere noted in the process of making a reservation. Our team does a fantastic job of pacing out a coursed meal for parties of two within two hours. When guests wish to dine at a more leisurely pace we always do our best to accommodate. Unfortunately there are time where we are fully reserved in our second seating which leaves our options limited, however our team tonight did their best to provide you with options of a larger table, saving you seats at the bar to finish your meal at your own pace, and communicating with you throughout your time to ensure you had an opportunity to enjoy dessert. We're sorry none of these options were valid to you.

   Suppose to get 2 hrs for a reservation for two. Waitress came and said they had another party booked for our table about ONE hour later and we had to leave the table by then. We couldn’t even get steaks because they would take too long to cook, no time for dessert and no time for apps. Had to rush to leave the table by when there wanted it . I have never experienced anything like it and will never be back to any alo restaurant.

We understand that late arrivals and party size changes can happen last minute, and our team always does their best to accommodate these sudden situations to give our guests as much time to dine with us as we can.    Fabulous from start to finish. Booked a bar seat last minute and we were sat at the chef's table. The front of house staff and chef team were lovely and the kitchen staff interacted with us and answered questions about the dishes they were making! We had an amazing evening and the food was amazing. The highlight of our trip to Toronto!
