   When we approached the host’s stand , we heard there was a little wait and everyone requesting outside tables by the water. We checked in with our reservation, and we were so happy when they right away walked us to our reserved, outside table. The service was quick and friendly. Cocktails were great; oysters, conch fritters, and lobster roll were all delicious. We didn’t feel rushed and enjoyed our experience immensely.

   The warm shrimp and crab dip, the fried fish bites, and the fresh oysters of the day were all delicious appetizers. The scallops were fresh and excellent. There was some disappointment with the entrees and sides. Why mix corn in with mashed potatoes? Why is corn in the potato cake for the snapper stack? Green beans w an occasional julienned onion or carrot is just haricots vert, not really a vegetable medley as listed on the menu. All seafood was fresh, there just wasn’t a lot going on to recommend this location before any other restaurant in Key West.

   We were a bit too early for Happy Hour (4pm-6pm) so prices were higher. We had 6 oysters and 1/2 lb of peel and eat shrimp and it was so fresh and delicious. The service was great, attentive but not overbearing, and everyone was so friendly. I would definitely go back!

   I had a great dinner!!! Got seated by the marina outdoors I totally recommend it! Great views and the weather was perfect today. We got the stone crab which are seasonal and if they are when your here get them the mustard sauce is amazing with them! Also had to get some oysters, we did the ones with caviar and they were divine. For our entrée, we got the fried snapper and it had a side of rice and beans with a mango salsa and a tartar sauce, and it was the perfect size. We finished everything. We were totally full at the end, but not overwhelmed. The food was great. Service was good. Will totally come back when I’m down in the keys.

   We asked for dressing dressing on the side on two different occasions and kitchen soaked the salad. Had to send it back. Service was good.

   Service was great. Deborah was very attentive and made helpful suggestions on what to eat. The food was subpar and who puts fried hogfish over mash potatoes and mash potatoes over green beans. Set them aside and apart from one another. Mixed drinks had very little alcohol. To boot, everything was overpriced. $38 for that food and $17 for that poorly constructed mixed drink. Open table had this at two $$?!? Do not recommend Alonzo’s.
