   Appetizers spectacular (beans and greens and ‘shrooms). Entrees good but not as much. Sausage cavitelli ok. Not much sausage though. Pasta with grilled chicken nothing special.

   Food is excellent! Service was very slow. Everyone on the staff was working hard it just seemed they didn't have enough people working there.

   Our food was cold and when we told the waiter he had no response. We ordered 2 vanilla and 2 chocolate gelatos however the machine broke ! We will not be back anytime soon.

    Had a wonderful birthday celebration at Alta Via. Service (our server was Mary, and she was a delight!) was attentive and responsive and allowed our meal to unfold at a calming pace. Opening espresso martini was well balanced, starter (beet salad) was fresh and perfectly dressed, focaccia was delicious, mains (pappardelle with braised short ribs and pasta alla vodka was nicely sauced and generously portioned. Glass of pinot was jammy and paired well with the pasta, but overpriced at 16/glass. Our dessert was a bit disappointing -- olive oil cake was too dry, and house limoncello was too harsh. The music was energetic but still too loud for conversation.
