   The food was excellent, and the service was above and beyond! Our server was great, and he went the extra mile on a couple details to make it a flawless experience.

   Wonderful and fast service. Food was delicious and they brought my wife a dessert and candle for her birthday! Special place for a special night.

   Awesome experience, wasn’t my first time but it was the first time for my guests which they loved everything about it . The place, the food , the presentation, service , the decor , the lighting , music .but above all is the best Lebanese food in the city . Keep up the good work Amal 👍

   The couch was a bit uncomfortable to sit in to eat. Love the vibe, beautiful restaurant The service was amazing, lots of attention in a positive way

   Food quality is superb, as is the service. The wine list would be well served to provide more varieties that are regional to the cooking as opposed to, say, French wines. All portions should be shared -- what you pay is excellent for the quality of food, knowing that two can share. Service can be fast, but service stay is engaging and very respectful of the meal you are sharing and you simply need to ask to course the meal out with sufficient space. Interior design is excellent, and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. A great night!

   A really hot and cold review of Amal. The Good: The overall ambience was amazing, beautiful decor, dj playing great music, buzzing atmosphere, and belly dancer entertainment after 9PM. Also tried a few cocktails which were all delicious. The Bad: Our waiter was extremely unresponsive. We were constantly looking around, trying to flag her down to get simple things like order another cocktail or appetizer. This was incredibly frustrating, as we just wanted to enjoy our time at the restaurant together, not have to constantly do this side job of asking for service. My wife and I were there to celebrate her birthday, and the service took so long that we had to leave before they could serve my wife's birthday treat. To be fair, the waitress did mention we can mention it next time we visit for a dessert on the house, but the meaning is lost. The food was also not extraordinary - it was fairly good middle eastern cuisine, but nothing exceptional or worth raving about. Of all the dishes I would say the Branzino was one of the better tasting dishes, but still overall a very sub-par experience. The bill for several cocktails, a few appetizers and a shared main was slightly over $300 which was steep for a subpar experience. Would not recommend this place for a dinner occasion, I believe there are much better alternatives for the same price or better. However, would recommend for stopping by for a cocktail or two.
