                This is obviously a very popular Italian restaurant and it's for a good reason. Everything is outstanding. Try to get a table in the main dining room. But wherever you are seated it's an amazing dining experience.

                One of the best Italian restaurants in Houston. The Primizia salad, salmon and the tartufo for dessert were all divine. Exceptional server and staff.

                What happened to my favorite Italian restaurant? Calamari was dreadful, doughy and tasteless. Salad was blah. Saltimboca veal was tough, salty and tasteless. Veggies like cardboard. Had an argument with barkeep about not putting ice chips in my martini. No Barolo wine. I guess after 8+ years, I will resign. Restaurant usually packed on Thursday night, but barely 1/3 full. Owners on vacation or maybe its been sold?

                Lovely decor, wonderful serving staff. Unfortunately, extremely crowded and noisy and the food very underwhelming. The lamb was over cooked and dis not taste fresh. The veal scallopini was tasteless and drowning in mushroom sauce. Additionally, the veal was not served with the sides listed on the menu - which was a factor in selecting the courses - the sides were substituted without explanation or notice. Overall, disappointing experience.

                I only give 4 stars for food because we didn’t realize that there would be a prefixed menu for Valentine’s Day. BUT! The food we did get was amazing! My pasta was not as hot as I would’ve liked but the flavor was amazing. Cocktails were good, great selection of wine at a decent price. I really enjoyed it, and would like to return when we can have access to the full menu and get the items we missed out on.

                Ok restaurant. Food was ok. Our party order both seafood and steak. Steak was very tough and not good. Would recommend if looking for a great Italian restaurant that one looks elsewhere.

                You can’t say enough about Amalfi. The entire evening was more than I could have expected. The wait staff (Ezequiel was tops) attended to our wants before before we knew we wanted them. And what can you say about the meal. The food was impeccable as always.
