This is a gem of a restaurant. Fresh and delicious food. The Bangalore Dosai was outstanding, as was the Palak Paneer. Everything we had was top quality and tasty. The trio of sweets was yum - especially the Carrot dessert which we hadn't had before. Service was friendly and prompt. A fantastic evening out.

This was my first trip to Amara Restaurant. Food quality is just brilliant with lot less oily/creamy than other Indian restaurants. Can recommend this to anyone.

The food was tasty and the recommendations of the waiter about variety and quantities were excellent. Most of the guests at our table were vegan or vegetarian and we found the choices great. I will be back!

The menu at Amara is a culinary journey, showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients crafted into beautifully presented dishes. Each plate felt like a work of art, with vibrant flavors and creative pairings that made every bite a discovery. I particularly enjoyed chettinad chicken and goat curry with garlic naan, which was tender and packed with flavor, and the vegetarian options were equally impressive, showing attention to diverse dietary needs. At last, the lentil daal just reminded me of home.

Went here for the first time on Saturday and found a little gem in our local neighbourhood. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and friendly and the restaurant itself is clean and crisp. I recommend trying the Amara platter to sample some of the entrees, especially chicken tikka and tandoori lamb cutlet. The dessert platter is also highly recommended if you have room for it. The prices are very reasonable, not only for the food but also for the alcohol. Will definitely be visiting Amara on a regular basis.

Authentic tasty Indian food, nice setting, with lovely service. We are big fans of their Dosa and are hoping they will make Rava Dosa one day soon!
