   Great dining and fun experience. The food was exceptional, with twists on some Cuban favorites The place was fun. You come into what looks like a real laundry, only to step into a speakeasy with jazz music, and live music starting a 9:30 on Saturday. I had a Kentucky mule prepared by the bar staff that will, going forward, be my go to drink. What a discovery. worth the long drive from our home in Coral Gables.

   Absolutely amazing gem in the neighborhood. Worth the drive if you don’t live nearby. Everything we ordered was delicious. Great cocktails. Service was welcoming. Our table wasn’t ready so were sat in the Sala and started with cocktails and apps while we waited. Genius idea. Not the way restaurants typically handle this. We were able to watch as the owner was checking on each plate before it went out. Will definitely be back- sorry it took us this long to try Amelia’s.

   If you are a lover of soups as I am, the onion soup was absolutely the best I've had. The Lomo Saltado was excellent, my wife had the oxtail on tamal en cazuela which she loved. Our server , I believe his name is Dereck was excellent. We regularly experiment new restaurants and this one ranks as one of best in food quality and taste. We highly recommend Amelia's 1931

    Couldn’t ask for a better place to celebrate our anniversary! Food, service and ambiance all excellent! Second time coming here, first time was brunch and that was fantastic, this will not be our last time! Love everything you’re doing! Don’t ever change!
