My husband and I made reservations for our anniversary. When we arrived we were only given the option of a buffet. Not anything I would pick for our 42ond anniversary. Then the food was mediocre at best, cold and almost $300 with a drink for each of us. Very disappointing

We were here for the Seafood Buffet on Friday. Don’t believe the descriptions- the food was unimpressive at best. There was a single carving station with meat that looked like it had been sitting there for awhile (we were there at 7:15!) and the other options were limited. The sides were bland and had also been sitting. Desserts were mass produced cookies and two tarts, very disappointing. This was definitely not worth the significant price.

Elegant dinning room as would be expected from this storied resort. Food was good. Only issue is I ordered filet mignon medium rare and it came well done. Sent back, it came back medium well. Waiter comped our drinks which was fair, but a renowned restaurant like this should be able to cook steaks as requested.

Prime rib and seafood buffet was OK but not exceptional as I expected based on the price. The prime rib and oysters were very good, but the vegetables and salad were a bit lackluster. Wine and service however was exceptional! Kenroy saved the day with his service, wine suggestion and banter!!!

Our meal at the American Audubon last evening was wonderful. The service was friendly and excellent. My husband had the trout and I had the chicken. Both were presented artfully and tasted great. We also had the crime brûlée for dessert and both our server and the maitre d sang happy birthday to my husband.

The food was good but they only let you do a buffet on Friday night so the service experience was lacking. It took at least 10 minutes for a waiter to come over and offer drinks. There were more mains (proteins) than sides. The desserts were pretty good. As a pregnant person, I wish they had more non alcoholic drink options. There was a pianist and dance floor which was fun but definitely made it loud. Quite a mix of what they allow in terms of dress code- some people in jeans and sweatshirts and some in suit and tie. Overall not worth almost $200 for 2 people for a buffet, but the food was good.
