   Everything was perfect except that the room we were sat in was very cold and we (and everyone else in the room) had to keep our coats on. There were open tables in the main dining room so it would have been nice to sit in there.

   Great food and efficient friendly service. The cuisine was sophisticated, as well. We highly recommend this restaurant.

   Service was very very slow, food was good but portions could have been better with the meat. Had to ask for things multiple times and ended up having to go to the bar to ask. We were overcharged on our bill and didn’t realize until we had left.

   We went with high hopes based on other reviews. However, we experienced broadly inauthentic food (served at tepid temps), and choppy service that included attempting to clear our table while we were still eating. It was Valentine’s Day dinner and very busy, so maybe that had something to do the service issues. But I’d guess that the food quality is likely to be an ongoing issue, so we won’t be back.

   Amrit palace is one of our favorite restaurants in Ocala. We went there on Valentine’s Night so I don’t know if this is the “new normal” or not. Drink menu is one of the best of any restaurant I have ever been to. Variety and quality is one of their biggest draws for my wife…Appetizers were delicious. Gobi Manchurian which is spicy battered cauliflower and the meat samosaa(?) just ok. A little dry. Sauces for apps are top notch. Entrees now come with sides. Previously you got the entrees with a bowl of rice for the table. Kind of liked that better. I got buryani lamb which had chunks of lamb in rice. Too much rice… Wife got butter chicken which as always was delicious. But needed rice… waiter quickly delivered. Dessert was really good. A pastry in syrup and I forget what else. Service is top notch. Meal delivery is measured in nearly seconds. A five course meal only takes an hour and we were not in a rush. They get people in and out. You aren’t rushed at all, they have cut the time from order to meal better than any restaurant I know.

   First experience at Amrit. Our server was great, loved the Naan. Chicken curry was good, Palak Paneer was also good. The Indian Chenin Blanc was a new experience and was also good.

   This is our first time back after the renovations- love the new layout and decor. Also love the new menu featuring sides. The fried cabbage and chickpea salad were GREAT additions.

    First time here. We went for my wife's birthday and it was terrific. Atmosphere was great and the food was outstanding. We'll definitely be back.
