Anatoli Souvlaki was opened by Helen & Thomas in the spring of 1984. They had a dream of combining the food of Greece with great service to add some Mediterranean style to the North Vancouver restaurant selection. They opened in the sleepy neighbourhood of lower Lonsdale and lived above the restaurant to ensure the quality and service. They were able to create a North Vancouver staple, a successful thriving restaurant based on faithful patrons and a reputation that has been passed through generations.

Was great! Little crowded and noisy, but it was New Year’s Eve. I was hoping cause we had a reservation we would have been seated at a table in the corner in stead of the middle of the room, but other than that the server was friendly and the food was good.

We were there for NYE dinner with my sons and close friends. The staff welcomed us in with warm words and smiles from the moment we walked in. The vibe was very upbeat. Everyone seemed relaxed and having fun. The food and service was excellent. Our waitress was extremely busy as the restaurant was full but she was still super friendly and bubbly. The dancer was very entertaining. What an awesome experience. Definitely will continue to enjoy Anatoli’s. Superb food and service.

fantastic. I was very impressed with the calamari dinner. Excellent size portions and the greek potatoes were the best I've ever had . Very good value
