   We got seated in the patio with the heater above our heads, it was boiling and we asked to turn it down but that didn’t happen until right before we left which made our stay very uncomfortable. Also we where a party of 8 so we got charged 20% tip which wasn’t disclosed up front nor when we asked for the bill, it was tagged in automatically like your expected to pay, some disclosure would be nice. We ordered the salads the portion was tinny , it felt more of a side than a stand alone dish . You wanna charge 20% tip at least be transparent and when we ask for the heat to be turned off at least turn it off.

   We had a hair in our nacho chips which was taken away, and not replaced when we still had a half of a bowl of guacamole. I had to ask our server to get more chips which was weird. Service seemed slow and inattentive.

   We came for lunch today and we didn't love the food, it was very boring and no flavor. We had to use all the sauces because without them, the food was dry and flavorless. We ordered 5 dishes, the tableside guac (amazing) and 4 dishes of the original taco's, the beef, chicken, pork and fish - they all were so dry and boring.

   The food was alright. I enjoyed the homemade chips and white hot mayo. We ordered the table side guacamole which was fresh, however lacked seasoning including lime. We also ordered one of each taco which for the most part were good however the pork, beef, and fish tacos were very bland which was rather disappointing. The margaritas were very good. Overall I was disappointed with the experience and food. I booked a reservation in which they did not even provide a table inside the restaurant but on the rooftop patio where it was way too cold even with the weather warming up so I had to request a table inside which should have been offered first with a reservation. The food is quite expensive for what it is. The customer service was okay, however the waitresses were not very attentive. I also had mentioned in the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and there was no mention or offer of dessert which was quite shocking. This is the only restaurant I have been to that has not provided anything for a birthday celebration. Probably will not be recommending this restaurant to friends/family.

   Great experience for wife’s bday. Accommodated our largish group without question, offered excellent advice when ordering and everything came in timely manner . Would highly recommend and will def be back!

    We've been to Anejo 5 or 6 times and it keeps getting better and better, our meals are fresh and dance and sing across my tastebuds like Michigan J. Frog, this has quickly become a favorite as we usually order more than we can eat...but that's why take away containers are made!!
