   Exellent food, service friendly for the meal. Pub was supposed to close at 10pm but stopped serving drinks at 9pm because the staff wanted to close up. It was a shame that such an Exellent meal was ruined by staff who didn’t want to serve more drinks to customers who waited in the bar for 45 mins for a taxi.

   Lovely dining experience at the Anglesey Arms. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, would highly recommend the pie and mash. Superb gravy. We will be back.

   As ever a great meal at the Anglesey Arms. We both had the beef which was cooked perfectly. A great side dish of cauliflower cheese too. The only issue was being placed near a very large family party who were incredibly noisy. Not the fault of the pub but spoilt the ambience a little. Otherwise a great Sunday Lunch.

   Once again an outstanding 5* experience: a tasty leak and potato soup, a perfectly executed creamy pappardelle with chicken and my usual favourite, a warm mini brownie with ice-cream to finish 😋 The service was impeccable, attentive and friendly and the atmosphere just perfect.

   Had boxing day lunch here. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There were many vegetarian options available and they all sounded delicious!

   Our experience was acceptable but nothing special. We had a table for 8 which consisted of 2 ill fitting tables pushed together and we were short of a chair and had to ask for one. The location of the table wasnt great as it was away from the main areas of the restaurant so lacked ambiance. The wine was a little warm. The chips on one order were cold. There wasn’t a lot of attention given by the staff.

   Hello Linda, we're sorry to hear your experience was nothing special. Our only permanent large table (of eight) was already booked, therefore two tables were put together for the eight of you. We're sorry that you felt that the tables were ill fitting and that you had to ask for an extra chair. We note that you requested a quiet table away from any doors & can only assume this is why you feel the restaurant lacked ambience due to the location of your table. We hope you mentioned the wine being a little warm and the chips cold at the time as we would've been more than happy to rectify this for you.     Food was lovely, service was great, decently priced, only thing id say is atmosphere felt quiet, bit of music wouldn't go a miss
