    Anica has great ambiance on the beach with the sunset. Waiters were very attentive. Food was mixed - Braised beef was outstanding, pork belly was way overcooked so not moist, most of appetizers and veggies were average.

    Made reservation through Open Table, restaurant did not have record of reservation. Food was good and staff were cordial but wait time for salads/appetizers, entrees and check was way too long

    We were not guests at the hotel, however, we booked Christmas dinner well in advance (2 weeks) based on reviews that said they accommodated vegetarians. For the Christmas dinner, which was fixed price, they were not able to accommodate vegetarians very well. They charged the same price for vegetarians as non, even though the main course was watermelon for vegetarian and steak for the non-vegetarian. I was still hungry after. Also we were seated indoors because it was a windy evening. There was no ventilation for the open kitchen which we are sitting right next to so the room was filled with smoke. Thought for the price it would be much better. Super disappointed. To top it off, the resort where the restaurant is located is in the middle of nowhere and they don't allow rideshare leaving. Be prepared to pay an arm and a leg to leave if you don't want to walk the 4 miles to the entrance from the resort lobby.

    Expensive, small portions, with average food quality. Presentation was well executed but lacked the quality of a fine dining experience. The view was amazing appetizer and drinks only.

    The Good: The service is spectacular! The staff is very attentive and goes above and beyond! Try the creamed corn or chicken tortilla soups- both excellent in flavor and a great portion! The scallop starter was delicious as well! The Bad: Stay clear of the mushroom soup…. just hot salty water with beef. For entrees, the shrimp fettuccine was pretty disappointing- the grilled shrimp was excellent, but the pasta and sauce tasted like chlorine. All in all, it’s an excellent experience for our all inclusive meal plan! But, I don’t recommend coming for dinner if you are paying out of pocket as everything is very expensive for what you get.
