    Restaurant week dinner--limited menu but every choice was very good and innovative: unusually good hummus with scallion pancakes in place of pita; terrific green papaya caesar; beautifully fried catfish with kimchi potato salad. Bonus for me that the kimchi is made without shrimp powder; and there are always gluten-free and vegan options for full meals. In fact, next week they debut a catfish sandwich on gluten-free bread, with cornmeal to pick up the flavor of the fish breading. Only the smashed cucumbers were underseasoned: they deserved garlic, a little soy sauce and lots more chili. A really fine meal worthy of Tim Ma's reputation.

    One of the most disappointing meals in a while. I had really been looking forward to this one! The menu looked amazing and I wanted to try all of it. Luckily, they extended restaurant week and it looked like I'd be able to! Unfortunately just about everything was off. They took our drink and food orders all at once, which I was hesitant about because pacing is important to me - and sure enough, the first course came out first. This was fine, since it was just bread and spread. But they all proceeded to bring everything to the table next to us, leave then bring it to us. And coming around trying to take our plates before we were done. When we asked about different dishes, we just got a description of portion size - and that the caesar salad was "fishy". When the second course came out while we were still eating the first, I asked them to slow down. Which I think he took as "stop coming around at all" because our plates stacked up and our waters sat empty. When the final course came, it came with no silverware - so, no one in sight I had to go search for it. Turns out we didn't really need it because the third course was so bad we boxed it to go. There were really no stand out dishes - the bread and spreads were nice, the calamari and papaya salad were decent, the spatzel was inedible - like a cheese soup, and the katsu eggplant was completely unseasoned (though the veggie medley on the side was). Overall, 2 on food, 2 on service, 4 on cocktails.

    Unfortunately unimpressed. The food had virtually no taste and was incredibly greasy. I've had both dinner and breakfast and would not recommend.

    Had been meaning to try the highly rated breakfast sandwiches for awhile now, and restaurant week reminded me that Any Day Now was serving dinner. Decided to try it for date night. I am glad I did. We sampled the grilled bread with ricotta and another with eggplant. Both were delicious. Just enough to accompany a cocktail and whet our appetites. Followed that course with the calamari and the shredded caesar. The calamari was fried to perfection and the thick rings were full of additional flavor from the honey crunch topping. My husband enjoyed the caesar but we both preferred the calamari. I sampled the spaetzle with beef and my husband had the chicken. The spaetzle was to die for. Soft and chewy with nuggets of braised beef. The chicken with yucca was fine but the leg was a little too crispy and we found it difficult to eat. No desert for us as we were to full but the chocolate tart and coconut cake looked yummy. Will definitively be repeat customers

    Dining. Here was a wonderful experience! Although the menu is somewhat small, it has enough tempting creations to make me want to come back several times. I would describe the food as being slightly Asian inflicted, although not really ethnic. I had a wonderful dish made of Spoetzl, kimchi, and braised beef!
