   Start to finish - I was put off that I had to add a credit card to reserve with the premise that I’d be charged if I didn’t cancel 48 hours ahead of my reservation. I’ve seen this before but reserved anyway. Unfortunately, didn’t feel well this morning and normally would have cancelled, but wasn’t sick enough to be charged a fee for cancellation. This is beyond pretentious assuming reservations are in such demand. They aren’t. Half the restaurant was empty while we dined. Our reservation was for 7. Table wasn’t ready. The hostess (sweetest person ever) was very apologetic; said there had been an emergency (I think…couldn’t really hear) and the manager was rearranging tables. We were seated around 7:25 or so in a corner with multiple empty tables around us so 🤷🏼‍♀️. No idea what the delay was but an offer of an app or a drink would have been appreciated. The wine list - I’m no sommelier, but the white wine offerings are meager at best. Wine by the glass is what you’d buy for $10 a bottle at the liquor store. There were only two Sauvignon Blancs on the wine list and they didn’t have one of them. The lobster bisque is amazing. Possibly the best I’ve had. The Caesar salad was near the core white parts you usually throw away. Lobster pasta was delicious. Can’t think of a reason to go back, but will do take out for the lobster bisque. Our apps came before our drinks. Is the kitchen in a hurry or is the bar slow? Either way, not appropriate. And then, servers, bartenders, etc should never touch the rim of a glass as it’s served whether water, soda or any other beverage. sorry I’m a stickler on that. We’re local and love Lily restaurants, but this is a miss for us.

   Service was great! Attentive, but not distracting. Food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   Our family does a monthly brunch and this month we chose The Argyle Grill & Tavern. The menu selection was unique, not your standard breakfast choices. Loved the appetizers, also unique. The bloody Mary’s were perfect and the service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend.

   It was our first time there, and we were expecting a smaller, less impressive place. It turned out to be amazing. The restaurant side was classy, beautiful, and the food was delicious. After, we went to the bar area to spend some time, and the drinks and atmosphere were perfect. I think we spent like 6 hours in all. It was a perfect night and I would recommend it to everyone.

   The new chef here is great! All the food is delicious! We had a variety of appetizers and mains and all were great. And the ambiance is lovely as it always has been. Highly recommend! Only thing I'd say is the portions are triple the size of what a normal person could eat. They should be half that!

   Wonderful evening at the Argyle! Busy Saturday crowd made for a crowded bar but it’s a lively and fun crowd and the bartender made sure we didn’t wait long form drink! After our pre dinner cocktail we were sat in the beautiful dining room for really superior dinner! Every dish was delicious! Can highly recommend!

   Matt was our waiter, the nicest, so helpful, great service and when we asked for recommendations since it was our first time there, he was spot on. Food, service, and ambience were all exceptional!!!

   Staff was personable and professional. The food was top notch and the value was there. I will certainly become a regular. I’m so glad it re-opened under this new management. They sure know what they’re doing!

    Made a 3 p.m. reservation, table wasn't ready until 3:10, yet there were adequate size empty tables available and parties that arrived after us that were seated before us, very poorly handled, manager was very rude. Also informed both the manager and the server that it was my daughter's birthday, yet no candle was included on the dessert nor any singing. Food was fair. Overall very disappointing.
