Arnaud's is in trouble. The bar was a madhouse between 7-8pm. The waitstaff was downright rude at the check-in area. The whole place was desperate, uncontrolled and massively in need of management attention. I've never been treated so rudely at a similar restaurant. The food was lovely, but the fried potato dish for which Arnaud's is famous was unavailable at our 830pm seating. That was sad. But the rest of the meal was very good, including the wonderful desserts flambe. We ate in the Jazz annex. The sounds were lovely even though the musicians never approached our table. We left unhappy, sad for Arnaud's, and feeling the evening was very much NOT value of money or that we were being treated well by the front of house staff.

Tourist trap. Small portions with average at best food. Cocktails were the same. Do not waste your time or money.

Arnauds is a New Orleans classic and that is reflected in their decor and tuxedoed waitstaff. Waitstaff are attentive. Chairs and tables are small and uncomfortable in need of a serious upgrade. Food is overpriced and unimaginative. The cheesecake we ordered was not cheesecake and nearly inedible. When you dine in the "Jazz Bistro" they automatically add a $6 per person charge to your check. This is ridiculous. Prices are already too high. Pay the jazz band. Don't charge the customer!

We had a reservation for the jazz bistro right when they opened. I showed up in a very expensive and very classy double breasted bridge coat, but because I did not have a collared shirt on they made me put on one of the terrible house sport coats that was 3 inches too big in the shoulders and 3 inches too short in the sleeves. Didn’t hide my collar at all and absolutely ridiculous looking but I was perfectly willing to wear it as that is their policy. They then sat us in a back corner table in a separate section, far away from the band that we came to see while they proceeded to sit everyone else right near the band in the main room. They were obviously trying to hide me from the other customers. The wait staff then tried their hardest to get us out of there as soon as possible. We stayed, mostly to spite them. The food was fine, there are 50 other restaurants in the quarter with better food. We watched parties show up after us with men dressed in slouchy hoodies over cheap Walmart collared flannel shirts that got seats in the main dining room near the band and were treated with much more respect than we were, just because I didn’t have a collared shirt. They’re not even actually interested in maintaining a classy atmosphere, they just want to enforce arbitrary rules for the sake of enforcing arbitrary rules. My advice, go literally anywhere else in the French quarter and get better food with better service and not be treated like a second class citizen. Band was great at least, but nobody even paid attention to them except us.

over rated, over priced. Food was mediocre at best, and service on par with food. We were party of 4, one ordered a filet medium rare but a received a well done steak. The steak was replaced, without even an apology.

Food just ok, nothing special. The food preparation should be given a lot more attention and be treated with a much higher level of skill. Quality just not there. A number of dishes / sides served were cold or just not quite hot enough. Guessing a few things sat a little to long before other things were ready to come out. Service was good, a lot of very nervous waiters though still refining their skills. Definitely working at it though. All in all service was as appreciated.
