Arthur's is the nearest pub on the route to The Guinness Storehouse, one of the city's foremost tourist attractions. It is popular both with locals and tourists. Naturally it has the freshest pint of Guinness in all of Ireland.

Arthurs is a classic Dublin pub, old style but well appointed. It has been a pub for over 200 years, and has many historical connections, being beside St. Catherines Church, outside of which the patriot, Robert Emmet, was hung, drawn and quartered in 1803.

We light a real turf fire everyday, play an eclectic mix of Irish music and have live music sessions in the evenings.

Upstairs at Arthur’s, we have a room that operates as a restaurant in the day, but at night becomes Arthur’s Blues and Jazz Club, where we host top national and international blues and jazz acts 5 nights a week. On stage we have a concert grand piano, and we also have an excellent lighting rig, and a top professional PA and sound system.

Took in Arthur's Pub after seeing it listed on the Guinness Storehouse page and thought he would be a great place for food afterwards....worst decision made. Pub itself was okay however both staff upstairs and food quality was very poor. Food ordered from menu was served with several amendments to that menu which we were told "I hear ya, should be updated as the food is served with different things now with a different chef". No apologies, no effort just a second "I hear ya" when we mentioned allergies and off she popped to answer a phone behind the bar. Hand dryer in the first toilet upstairs sums up this place (I only wish I could upload the picture I took) but if you see it you'll understand. Save yourself the trip and go elsewhere. Highly NOT recommended.

We booked a table for three prior to a gig in Vicar Street. I like Arthur's for the music and now I like it for the food. Our burgers and fish dishes were nice generous portions. Our waitress was excellent, good craic, friendly and attentive a credit to the business.

Excellent pre-gig dining venue, great food and portions, plus friendly service and eclectic clientele, so my buddies and I are now regulars!

Limited menu. Stews and casseroles were mediocre. Fish and chips were amazing. Staff were unwelcoming. No dessert which kind of killed the end of the meal. Jazz club was epic. Place needs a rethink.
