   Arrived !! The bar was really busy due to private party in the upstairs area , Shown straight to our table without asking would we like drinks in the bar .. had to ask for the wine list , when the wine arrived it was put on the table , with the twist top!! Never asked if we would like to taste !! However our choice of food was delicious!! We both had lamb shank , our desserts were also fabulous .. so compliments to the chef & kitchen team The DJ although great felt like we were at an Ibiza beach club , maybe next time we should check the music ambience , last time we came Ella Shaw was singing and it was perfect for the venue .. The staff are lovely and friendly maybe just tweak the finer things of service ..

   Excellent as usual. Our favorite place for Sunday roast. Excellent value for money- quality beef served exactly as we like it along with plenty of vegetables. To be recommended. Beautiful interior along with first class service. Fantastic.

   Took a long while for the roast to arrive. Plenty of food. Some food on the plate was not so warm. Loved the separate dishes of veggies, so you can help yourself

   Food was lovely but the service shocking. It took 25 minutes for a waitress to come over to ask if we wanted drinks. And as we’d waited so long we wanted to put our food order in too. She said they were trialling a new system where they had drinks servers and food servers. So we then waited another 15 minutes for someone to come and take our food order. No one asked if we wanted any condiments when we were served our meals. The restaurant was also extremely noisy. Overall due to the service and ambience I wouldn’t return.

   Lovely food but expensive for the puddings. It seemed to take a long time for the waiter/waitress to take our plates and bring us dessert menus. All ok but not brilliant.

   We went for the Sunday Roast, had to wait quite a while for the food to arrive, but it was busy, so was to be expected. The it was nice, but the mash and the meat on the plate were both cold. Some of the meat was inedible, very pink and full of sinew. Everything else was fine, the vegetable selection was good and hot.
