asha is a contemporary Australian restaurant with a Middle Eastern influence.
Find us in the leafy suburb of Goodwood, Adelaide, 2 doors down from Good Gilbert. This intimate dining space has been designed to elevate neighbourhood high-end casual dining, transporting you in time and place.
We have 3 distinct dining areas available, a hotel-esq bar with deep stools which will allow you to oversee Chef Scott Fox and his team cook for the restaurant whilst you can watch the hustle of the bar, with it's tall custom built cherry oak shelves, before you - we think this is our favourite spot. Alternatively, you may find yourself in our intimate bar booths wrapped in blue velvet and leather, these are very cosy and are best enjoyed with some of your best friends or family. Lastly, our main dining space will be for those who prefer a more formal setting with a little more space, banquette seating and dining chairs.

We are happy for you to curate your own menu or we can make the decisions for you.. Choice Menu bookings are given a longer dining time limit to ensure you can enjoy it the way it's been designed. A La Carte Menu
Multiple dates available
For something more casual, the A La Carte menu allows you to order your way without committing to a multi course meal, though you may still choose to do this at the time of your booking. Groups of 6+ guests will only be offered our 3/4 course shared menu. Please inform us of any dietaries or allergies at the time of booking. Please note, a la Carte bookings will be subject to time limitations due to limited capacity, thank you for understanding.

Summer is here, and for the team at asha, that means the season of long lunches, shared with friends, is upon us. So come pop a bottle of bubbles and join the team for a lunch you won’t forget. Upon arrival all guests will be greeted with a cocktail. Followed by a three course meal including snacks, entrees and main courses. Of course the option remains to add something sweet to finish up. Bookings are essential – $69 includes cocktail on arrival and three course set long lunch - so round up the girls, grab your mates, or just come in for an intimate date – Bookings now available.

We had such a gorgeous date night last night. Beautiful friendly service and amazing food. The venue is the perfect size to feel full but not overcrowded and noisy.

Our early evening meal of small shared dishes was beautifully prepared and served; an exquisite and delicately prepared middle eastern cuisine. Lovely atmosphere and service. A little expensive. Highly recommended.

This is the second time I have had the pleasure of dining here. Both times have been immaculate, from the unexpected pops of delicious flavour, to the faultless service and ambience. Punches well above its weight in all regards. A must try.

An exceptional meal of shared “snacks”; small but delicious mouthfuls served in pairs, and “small”, entre-sized plates, each prepared with care and full of flavour. Stand out for us was the lachurch, a thin crumpet-like, yeasted bread with smoky eggplant and mushrooms and latke a small potato rosti with dill pickled mussels. “Small” plates were all delicious with the most remarkable being the “kabu sabzi” a Persian omelette jam packed with fresh legumes and spinach and topped with barberries and pistachio, those quintessential Iranian treats. We also had the ricotta and broccolini salad and cured king salmon. We finished by sharing the bitter chocolate ganache. Over the top but delicious and easily enough for two. We found no need to go to one of the “large” plates but with a choice of fish, fowl and lamb, they all looked interesting. For years I have expressed the desire to eat my way round the Mediterranean Sea, and having done most of the European side, Asha offered me delicious choices from the eastern and southern side. Highly recommended.

Asha is a small space with a variety of seating options. Menu is not huge but definitely something for everyone and the quality, size and presentation of the food is excellent. It’s encouraged to share, but you don’t have to. The restaurant was close to full & we could easily chat at our table without having to raise our voice. Staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. Great spot for a quiet dinner for two, but also a small group.

Our first time at Asha, but we will be back. We had the feed me option and each dish was interesting and delicious. Excellent service and atmosphere. Overall a great restaurant.
