Guests enjoy the hospitality and fine home cooking that our country is famous for. The restaurant serves authentic Greek cuisine, prepared simply but deliciously. Entrees include many of the traditional dishes, a selection of grilled meats and roasted lamb shank. Delicious, homemade baklava, and galaktoboureko.

Service was great. Took care of us and wasn’t hovering the whole time. Fantastic authentic food. Good low key place with simple ambience.

We have not dined at Athenos for at least 5 years. We moved from the Garland/Mesquite area in 2014. We dined on Saturday, December 8th in route to a party in Mesquite. Since we remembered it was one of our favorite Greek restaurant we agreed to dine there that evening. The food is still as delicious and fresh as we remembered. The owner is as gracious as before. We will for sure returned and not let time lapsed. We love this restaurant! M & D
