I remembered The Atlantic Inn from the 1990s, when my family vacationed on Block Island every summer. If anything, the food was even better than I remembered. Our waitress was a delight. The only criticism I can offer is that, like nearly every other restaurant on the island, they ran out of several dishes on the Sunday night of Columbus Day weekend. (It seems to be a local tradition.) But the restaurant is worth a special trip.

I have enjoyed a number of meals on the beautiful, cozy front porch of the inn in season. We stayed at the inn during an October weekend. Had two dinners here. I did not like the vibe of the indoor dining room. The service was expert and friendly. Bar was extremely accommodating when we asked for a baseball game on the TV. Food was good, but not worth the price. I can only recommend meals here on the porch in the summer.

Amazing cocktails-love the watermelon man. Very romantic and cozy. Very classy. Excellent service and chicken dish. Shrimp piccata was delicious but could have been slightly larger. Excellent focaccia nice and squishy. High class place. Heard the coffee is excellent. Getting coffee next!

We were looking forward to an enjoyable dinner for four with my Mother but the service was very very slow and we waiting over an hour and a half with no food arriving after we ordered and no explanation or notice … we were just left to wait… finally got up and left. And we were told “ your food will arrive soon”! Really? When an hour and a half with no updates and only a comment when we were leaving? Not cool. Fail

We celebrated my birthday and the food and service were incredible! So many delish dishes…the beet app, the warm olives and focaccia, the sea scallops, duck, desserts and the signature coffee drinks after dinner!! Soooooo good!!
