   Thank you Fitz for preparing our table side appetizer. Richard was outstanding. We had a negative experience when we were being escorted to our table by the hostess that greeted us however Kate one of the other hostesses literally pushed one of my guests and almost pushed my mother who walks with a cane and is partially blind!! We had to ask her not to be aggressive and to slow down as she nearly pushed my mother!! Unacceptable she made no attempt to apologize. We expressed our concern to our server who was very apologetic and provided us excellent service and gave us complimentary dessert which was greatly appreciated. Ot would've been nice for the management to acknowledge our negative experience with Kate. We frequent Atlas and enjoy our visits there.

   Some of the dinner plates arrived cold. Timing must have been oof. I would like to see them add a baked potato as an option and a few vegetables on the plate would be nice instead of having to purchase them as a side.

   First...to be told you have 2 hours to eat and get out after spending $250+ is ridiculous!!! We were celebrating my husband's birthday - even though he is deceased & NO extra recognition was presented. Do you actually appreciate that people must scrounge together enough money to dine in your facility for special occasions and your policy appears to make them feel inferior!!! Food was good.

   Hve dined in lots of steakhouses, and seldom to they live up to expectations or what I make at home on the grill, or a hot cast iron. Atlas exceeded expectations with their bone in cowboy rib steak, it was excellent!

   Our waitress was very polite and very quick at taking our food order. The food was very delicious as usual. I highly recommend Atlas Steak & Fish Burnaby.

   Steaks were delicious although mine wasn't cooked as per the order. The hot bread and blue cheese / butter was amazingly good. Service was terrible. Our server was Marina who was always in a rush and inattentive. She forgot our drinks and wasn't present with us throughout our evening. No smiles, no greetings, clearly lacking the skills one needs to work in a steakhouse or fine dining restaurant.

    I have been to Atlas a few times and the food is consistently good. They use Josper grill for the meat and it is amazing. I love the wedge salad (so cold and crisp and refreshing). The steak is super tender and tasty. The seafood cioppino is full of seafood. Another highlight is the Baked Alaska as not many places offer this dessert. The service can be hit and miss, depending on the staff and maybe when you are there. They are slightly more attentive during dinner compared to happy hour. At my recent visit, we were celebrating a birthday and they surprised us with a complimentary cake with a candle. The chocolate peanut butter cake was so yummy. We shared the food as the portion can be big. I liked how they would ask if they wanted us to halve the portion into separate plates or keep it whole for us to do it ourselves. I recommend making reservations as it can get busy. The happy hour oysters are still a good price at $2 each (used to be $1). The lobster and prawn roll is quite tiny though.
