    The service was outstanding. The steak was delicious, but we had a surf and turf, and the crab tasted off, and there wasn’t very much of it and the prawns were terrible. They were a little bit like concrete. It was also quite noisy and difficult to hold a conversation. But we still had a wonderful Valentine’s Day and enjoyed our night out!

    I booked thinking Dine Out was still on. My fault. I ended up ordering the Halibut and Lobster risotto. Halibut was great, lobster and risotto were both overcooked. Also ordered the Caesar salad prepared at the table. She didn’t seem too happy about doing it. All in all was ok.

    We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and asked for a window table. The greeter showed us options as we had not been there before. We selected a lovely table in front of the fireplace. The waiter had perfect timing, being there when needed but not bothering us. He disuaded me from my wine selection as he felt it was not good but was enthusiastic about my second choice - same price but excellent! Food, service and staff were consistently fabulous.

    It was an early Valentines Dinner for us and we started with Happy Hour Appetizers, then STEAKHOUSE GREENS / Salad and SALT SPRING ISLAND MUSSELS + CLAMS then shared the 48oz TOMAHAWK STEAK with Peppercorn Sauce prepared Table side. All our dishes/ meals were cooked perfectly and well presented. Service was fantastic from the moment we arrived to when we left. The wine selection is exceptional also!!     Had a great experience for dinner! Had the stuffed squid, and steak tartare for appetizers - squid was different but very much enjoyed the tartare. Halibut was delicious in the risotto! Would recommend and would come back

    Was disappointed that 3 of the wine pairings for Dine out menu weren’t available and didn’t even have others similar to offer ( eg, no Rose or Port!) Our server did his best to make up for it, but was still disappointing that a restaurant of this caliber would run out of wine for a pairing menu they still offered. Otherwise, staff was friendly, food was delicious.
