A husband and wife team, Marc Taxiera and Brianne Myers combine their talents and love for the restaurant business. Marc in the kitchen and Brianne in the front of house, they have spent decades refining their craft at some of the most iconic restaurants in the city; now bringing their passion to Westchester.
Chef Marcs’ resume includes Executive Chef of the acclaimed Russian Tea room and the ultra-seasonal Beppe restaurant.
Brianne has been the General Manager of iconic places like Eataly, BLT Steak, and the renowned Loring Place - to name a few.
Augustine’s will be Chef Marc’s shining example of his ability to source local and seasonal ingredients. Finding his passion while in culinary school, his vision for his own restaurant continued to grow throughout his career. His philosophy is simple; take the best raw ingredients you can source and showcase them with minimal processing.

Upon arrival, we walked in with 3 others who did not have a reservation. The hostess acknowledged them, helped them to a seat, and totally ignored us and did not say hello. She left us standing at the front for about 10 min without ever coming over to even say I will be right with you. We found this very strange. Finally we were seated after our reservation time. Waiter service was excellent and attentive. Duck Ragu with home made Pappardelle was delicious. One of us had finished our meal before the other did and the waiter came by and took the finished plate. He should have waited for both of us to be done with our meal and then remove our plates. We had 2 drinks a Martini and a Glass of red wine. When the check arrived, I saw that we were charged for 2 bottles of wine for $240. Obviously it was an honest mistake and easily correct. However, if this restaurant is rated so highly one of the 50 best in the USA, you would expect a greeting when you walk in , and the waiter or waitress to review the check prior to dropping it off at the table. Overall experience a 3 star. The food we had was 5 stars. Did I feel I want to run back again to Augutines ? Not really.
