Residing inside the historic Agassiz Mansion at Castle Hill Inn, Aurelia is the next evolution in Castle Hill’s culinary journey – one that has been lauded as one of the best dining experiences in New England. Nestled on forty magical acres, the property has been the backdrop of memorable occasions for more than a century.

The Forbes and Relais & Chateaux restaurant, known in its original incarnation as The Dining Room at Castle Hill, offers a six-course prix fixe menu with imaginative dishes utilizing the local bounty of produce, seafood, and artisanal producers.

Aurelia’s dining rooms overlook Narragansett Bay in all its raw beauty. As the bay’s seascape and surrounding landscape change subtly with the seasons, so does Aurelia’s menu, culminating in a truly memorable experience.

Our chef's tasting menu is a 2.5-hour experience showcasing simple and elegant ingredient-driven food, classically derived yet infused with modern techniques and twists. Our Tasting menu is $165 per person. We ask that you provide a credit card at the time of booking to secure a reservation. If you fail to cancel at least 48 hours in advance or fail to show reservation time, the credit card on file will be assessed a $50 per person cancelation fee.

Every part of the experience was divine. Every bite of the meal was thoughtful and delicious. The service was impeccably cheerful. Just blown away by the quality.

Get ready for a thousand flavors. Pungent, subtle, new, interesting, familiar, surprising and most of all, delicious. The space and staff lull you into an unforgettable, mystic food experience. My wife and I had an evening we will talk about for years to come. We were seated at 6:30 for what we thought was going to be a loooong 2-1/2 dining experience. It was 10:30pm when we left. A highly recommended experience at the very end of Newport Rhode Island.

Another amazing evening at Castle Hill. This may have been our best meal yet, I especially loved the lobster! We also did the wine pairing, which we highly recommend. The wines were fabulous and we got to try a fortified Madeira wine we plan on buying for home. Our server was Carl, who quickly recognized us and offered incredible service (as always!). Castle Hill is the perfect place for a special dinner - our favorite!

Words cannot describe how special this staff makes you feel when you are at their restaurant. The team is beyond organized, talented and devoted to their crafts. A Polaroid picture as we are greeted, custom menus with our names on them, a signed card from the staff all to celebrate a special night. To top it off with a little goody bag to take home as we leave was the cherry on top. Thank you so much!

Outstanding tasting menu. Our 4th time here and my wife and I both agree this was the best meal we've had at Castle Hill (now Aurelia). Food was incredible, wine pairing was spot on, and the service was like watching a ballet. My great grandmother used to say "you never regret your extravagances". Don't second guess. Make a reservation.
