   The food was ok. We had the pesto which was under seasoned and the short ribs with mashed potatoes. The potatoes were a bit gluey. Ambience was fine, but we were underwhelmed.

   Ah, Valentine's Day—the holiday of love, overpriced flowers, and, apparently, surprise pre-fixe menus! When we booked our reservation a week in advance, there was no mention of a pre-fixe meal. Then, two days before, we got an email informing us that we had no choice but to partake. A little late to make other plans, don’t you think? Now, we’re not pre-fixe people. My husband is picky, and I enjoy the freedom of choice. Fortunately, there was something he was willing to eat (miracle!), but unfortunately, we barely had time to enjoy it. The service was so rushed I half expected them to start clearing our plates before we took our first bites. We were still sipping our espresso martinis when—bam!—our main course arrived. No chance to order wine for the short rib, just an awkward pairing of beef and rapidly disappearing water glasses. To be fair, the short rib and dessert were excellent. But the appetizers? A "salmon nugget" made the cut? Bold. The salad was so dry and plain it made me sad. And for the price we paid? We were in and out in under 45 minutes. That’s not a romantic dinner—it’s speed dating with food. Would I come back? Maybe, if I’m in the mood for a delicious entrée and a race against the clock.

   There were no prices on the menu, and we didn't know until we arrived that they only had 2 entrees to choose from.

   Surprised this place wasn't packed. The food was really delicious! The wife had the chicken fried NY strip and I had the short rib with the asparagus risotto. We were both very pleased with our selections and ended up sharing both dishes. The portions were quite generous as well. Especially the chicken fried NY strip. It almost covered the entire plate. All in all we had a great experience & we'll put this place in the date night rotation. 👍

   NYE dinner service slow, bar service slow, even when crowd cleared out and there were few people in the restaurant. Food was just ok. The place is cute and staff was friendly, just slow. Will be back to try again, though, especially to try brunch.

   Exceeded all our expectations! The food is fantastic! Do yourself a favor- reserve a space tonight and don’t skip dessert. The staff is helpful, friendly and the place has a great energy. We will definitely return!

   Aurora doesn’t have a stuffy vibe. From the outside it looks like a casual eatery. You will see those dressed up for date night and those who are casual. The food is amazing. Short ribs that melt in your mouth. Risotto done right. Don’t skip over this gem! Your tastebuds will thank you.
