Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.

Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. The seating times are 5-6:15pm and 7:45-8:30pm.

    Slow service for this meal. Took 3 hours! Our server didn’t really give the best explanations for our dishes compared to previous times we’ve been to Avelo. Of course the food was great so no complaints there.

    Had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary with the 5 course tasting menu and they even surprised us with complimentary cava to cheers our special day. The food was impeccable and we will certainly return - especially to try Bar Avelo!

    We had a small birthday dinner (6 people) at Avelo and everything was exceptional. The food was inventive, beautifully plated, and delicious. The staff were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to accommodate two guests with tree nut allergies. Avelo is perfect for a special occasion or a unique night out.

    Excellent complex tastes with ingredients from around the world. Deep savoury textures and unique plate design will keep me coming back but I did not enjoy the soy protein desert. It was hard and not enjoyable. Wish they did something more classic with the dessert like a v. chocolate cake or cheesecake. They were very accommodating for me as I asked for gluten free. I would still come back.

    The cuisine was elevated, creative, and uniquely inspired for our 5-course meal. Serena, our server, was knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Wine pairings were great. What a vegan fine dining gem!
