Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.

Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. The seating times are 5-6:15pm and 7:45-8:30pm.

    Our dining experience from 1st course to last was outstanding. Each plate, including the amuse bouche’s were beautifully presented and equally delicious. It was a visual and tasteful feast. The service was also top notch, with attention to detail and very intuitive staff, in particular the main attendant who was top of her game. We felt spoilt and looked after as soon as we entered the restaurant, until we departed. I will definitely return next time we are in Toronto and have already recommended it to friends and family.

    It's always a great meal at Avelo. The food is expertly prepared and there are few entirely plant-based option available in Toronto where the kitchen functions at such a high level. Service is attentive and pleasant. The tea is a great new option and I hope that they bring it back.

    Slow service for this meal. Took 3 hours! Our server didn’t really give the best explanations for our dishes compared to previous times we’ve been to Avelo. Of course the food was great so no complaints there.

    Had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary with the 5 course tasting menu and they even surprised us with complimentary cava to cheers our special day. The food was impeccable and we will certainly return - especially to try Bar Avelo!
