High energy and gracious, Avenue Kitchen and Bar is a place where one can enjoy terrific cocktails and comforting, Latin-American inspired cuisine from Executive Chef Audiel Vera and his seasoned and attentive staff. Our food offers flavors & technique that will welcome and excite you.
We have seating available in our large dining room, our bar & lounge, a seasonally-opened outdoor area, and a small private dining space available for intimate dinner parties.
We are conveniently located on 36th Street, commonly known as "the Avenue" in Hampden. Metered parking is available in a full lot in the rear of the restaurant as well as the front and surrounding streets. Entrances are located at both the front and rear and are easily accessible for all.

    There was no more naan bread so they kept on service us white bread toast with crab dip & pasta.

    Food was TERRIBLE, service was great. I sent my dish back. I never wanted to go to Avenue Kitchen because its to hit or miss l. I wish i did NOT go today, complete miss.

    Restaurant has a really cool vibe and decorated well. We went at 8:15 on a Saturday night and it took our server about 10 minutes to come take our drink order and food order at the same time. Drinks came about another 10 minutes later, and food about another 20 minutes. Food was great- decent portions and great flavor. A little pricy for what it was, but overall good quality food and fun atmosphere

    I really enjoy coming here. Tiffany is the best bartender ever! I appreciate that David is visible for almost every event that takes place. His presence is important and it shows that he's invested in the community and his patrons.

    My family and I had a great time! We were greeted right away , seated as soon as we confirmed our reservations. “PM B” Tiff was great ! Truly a great time and amazing atmosphere. Food AMAZING, drink AMAZING! I will return again and again. Actually I did I came back 2 days in row lol Thank yooou!

    Terrible customer service, bartender doesn't know when not to include himself in a conversation that has absolutely nothing to do with him. They don’t know how to talk to people. Very much so a raggedy experience altogether.

    The food was good and so was the service. We enjoyed our time. Strange to me that they do an auto gratuity for 2 adults and 2 kids and then explain the tip pool, emphasizing that if we want to leave money just for the server, we need to leave it in cash.

    I made reservations back in November for Xmas...I received a reminder which confirmed...only to show up on Xmas to find that the restaurant was closed!!!
