    We had the five course tasting menu. It was fabulous! So much food ! We had to take dessert to go. Service is great. It’s season here so they are so busy. Make sure to make reservations!

    We had a very enjoyable experience. Our waiter, Nico, was very attentive, polite, and explained the menu well. The menu had some poor translations, but we were able to figure it out. The food was excellent, the stuffed figs appetizer was amazing and the Oso Buco and Cordon Bleu Involtini were both top-notch. The Menu has many other choices we’re interested in so we will be back to explore it more.

    PV is at the start of the annual Festival Gourmet International. Azafrán’s guest chef is Stefan Pappert. While I didn’t try his tasting menu, I did order from his à la carte preparations, starting with his variation on tartare. The blend of beef, tuna and salmon was amazing, rich and filling. His tweak to cordon bleu using pork was tasty as well, along with the potato/cucumber accompanying the meat. I’ll definitely return before the festival ends on 17 November.

    We absolutely love Azafrán and it is our favorite place to eat. We took a couple of friends of ours for a meal they will not forget on the last night of their vacation. Food and staff is always far above the standard at most restaurants. They always make your experience one you will not forget. Azafrán is a definte go to while in Puerto Vallarta.

    Our first time here was back in August. It was amazing. Nico took very good care of us. We had the special ravioli and chicken cordon blu. Food was outstanding. Last night we had the duck breast (maybe one of the best ever) and chicken cordon blu again. Martini's with the blue cheese stuffed olives is a must. Make sure you get a reservation as they are generally packed!

    We have eaten there many times and it is always really good. We had the duck and filet main course. Delicious. Great waiters.
