   We had a wonderful holiday tea at Babe's Tea Room. We have done holiday tea every year for 13 years at various places in Boulder and Babe's absolutely blows them all away. Starting with the tea room itself -- we were seated on a very comfortable couch and chair, since it was only two of us, with decent room on the table for all the tea and treats, but we also had a side table that came in very handy to put things on (tea tables can get crowded with all the "stuff"). The tea menu is outstanding -- so many to choose from and you can have as many pots as you like so if you don't care for what you order, no problem. Get something different! They also offer a great menu of delicious cocktails. The food was outstanding! Everything was fresh and soft and so delicious. The sandwiches -- chicken curry, roasted turkey, cheddar with apple, and cucumber were so good. The scones were excellent (scones are usually dry and meh, but these had the perfect balance of soft and firm) and they were very tasty, especially the cinnamon chip. The sweet treats were also delicious and perfectly balanced (not too sweet). Our server was wonderful too. So friendly, so knowledgeable, so attentive. This really was the best afternoon/holiday tea we have had in a really long time. I know we'll be going to Babe's throughout the year and not just limiting ourselves to the holidays. It's that good!

   Cute girls day out! The space feels very much like a banquet room and not so much like a tea house - simple, not much too it. Plastic folding tables and white table cloths. Food and tea was good, and consistent with their other location, but ultimately the vibe and feel at the lohi location is my preference.

   Spend the few extra dollars for Brown Palace Tea, or save money and go to Glenn Erie's Christmas tea to get a cozy ambiance and Christmas feeling. Babes is cute but very casual and not very Christmas. Staff is in tank tops, jeans and street wear etc which is fine for a cafe but was expecting a little more from holiday tea. Food was fine and normal for a tea. We were over dressed having never been there. The wait was a bit much. Setting is beside a beautiful river that is lit up for holidays. So stay the evening and you'll get that Christmas feeling. I'd love to come back and enjoy the patio on a summer day for a drink and salad but I'd skip the Holiday Tea in future.

   I booked a table for a joint birthday and graduation celebration. My family and I enjoyed the food and tea (my favorite was the cupid's bow) offered. Everyone there was very kind and gave us great recommendations. We enjoyed our time. The atmosphere was very pretty, and we could easily hear each other in the room even though it was full of other parties.

   Fun Christmas tea! All the afternoon tea snacks were really good and had a great selection of hot teas. Love the aesthetic of the tea room, would have loved a little Christmas decor for the holiday time, but was really pretty despite that. Fun girls day out for sure.

   There were 6 of us and from the moment we sat down we were reminded throughout our tea that we only had the table for 90 minutes ~ which we were already aware of. It was unnecessary to keep reminding us of this house “rule” while we were trying to enjoy our annual Christmas tea event. P.S. Our total bill was over $300 so I think we “paid” handsomely for our “90 minutes”.

   We loved our experience at Babe's Tea Room. Kate was amazing! The place was super cute. We figured out at the very end of our experience that the lights being turned down would have helped the ambience. Felt like a hospital room the entire time. I hope that you decorate the back room so it feel more like the front. That's a big part of the joy. The outside patio is so cute and although the back room wasn't as cute or comfortable the chairs and tables worked out great. Our server was phenomenal. We will ask for her next time we go in! The tea sandwiches had great flavor but the bread was super dry. The pastries were yummy. The scones too were a bit dry but great flavor. The teas were amazing. Such a beautiful selection of teas. Kate was well versed in all of them and helped us navigate the menu. The room we were in was not too loud which was great because we had a small baby with us. We for sure will be coming back!!!
