   My boyfriend and I had never been to Bacari so we finally gave it a go; it’s less than fifteen minutes away and they have a happy hour for their first hour of being open?! Sold. Our server was polite and informative — but that was it. He didn’t come back to check on our food, our experience, etc., until we asked for the check an hour later. In between, a different girl came up and cleared our plates and asked if we wanted dessert. Let me be clear - the food was outstanding. We were told the portions might be on the small side but for us, they were perfect. We paid less than $90 for an hour of beautiful ambience, Christmas music playing overhead, and delicious food. However, had our server gave us a little more attention, we may have ordered more food. But this will give us an excuse to come back! In his defense, he seemed to be the only one taking orders. And it filled up quick! Either way, we will be back! Thank you for a lovely evening!

   I went with mh boyfriend, my mom, and her husband to celebrate my birthday, and it was everything I could have asked for! Fantastic food, service, and ambiance. We all especially adored the scallops!

   AMAZING experience! The atmosphere is one of a kind! Beautiful, inside and out. The food was exciting, by that I mean I ordered and was so excited to see what was to come. Did not disappoint. Our group of 5 shared orders of chilaquiles, brussel sprouts, bacari fries, burger, warm bread, hummus, shawarma tacos, and of course dessert! Bread pudding, malabi, custard were all great. Can you tell we love to eat?! One more thing, the french toast was the best I’ve ever had! We all agreed.

   We were introduced to three different servers throughout our Sunday brunch. Normally it would not matter to us, however service was bad and disorganized. 3/6 of us had our food first and the other 3 friends didn’t receive their food until after we finished eating and after we asked the server to check on the food. Quality and taste of the various appetizers and entrees we ordered were subpar. I would not recommend the chicken shawarma tacos or the burger. We also ordered the fries, gem salad, hummus, cauliflower, egg pizza, but nothing stood out. I can’t recommend coming back here for their Sunday brunch menu. It was a pretty outdoor space though.

   Lovely brunch! The restaurant is beautiful, like eating in a treehouse! The service from host to servers was welcoming and warm. The food was yummy and arrived quickly and hot. One little thing… don’t bring anyone who isn’t very comfortable with stairs.
