Towards the end of dinner the lovely evening atmosphere was quickly spoiled when the overheads lights were turned completely on. There was no need for the additional lights. You have a very intimate and lovely spot especially with the glass doors open. It felt like a school gymnasium suddenly.

Bread pudding was a real disappointment. It was dry and the portion half of what it used to be.

The Club has a new menu and a new chef. Sadly we enjoyed the previous offerings more . The traditional B and R scallop dish is non recognizable! Not nearly as good as it was.

I don't understand why you request this for a private club dining experience. Having said that the staff at the B&R Phoenix always provide excellent service, guests a re encouraged to relax and enjoy their time and the menu has good choices.
