Balboa Surf Club is an upscale American restaurant in the heart of Uptown, Houston, located in Post Oak Plaza. The menu places an emphasis on fresh seafood from around the country, including a curated sushi program, as well as salads, hearty sandwiches, a standout hamburger, and hand-cut steaks.

Another great meal at Balboa! I love the relaxed sophistication of BSC. The restaurant is beautifully designed, the food is consistently amazing, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s always a hit!

Another great evening at the bustling Galleria area Balboa Surf Club. An enjoyable dining experience was ensured by the attention from our Server, Sage. Our group, including several first-time Balboa visitors, tried...and loved, various appetizers with each then ordering separate main-fare choices. Each dinner was rated as outstanding. We also enjoyed a nice Balboa related discussion with a Manager "checking on our table" while she was assisting Servers.

This was my first time at this restaurant and I was so impressed with the vibe, the service and the food. The crab cake I had was the bedtI’ve ever had! I’ll definitely be back!

We have been to Balboa a handful of times in the last 3 months. Each visit has been top notch. My wife and I love the rainbow roll. Our server the last few times has been Jamel, he is a great server, very attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We are sad to be moving out of state but will absolutely be back anytime we are in Houston.

I had the fried oyster for appetizer. The ahi tuna & frites, and the special for main course. Finished off with the chocolate cream pie. 10/10 ambulance, food, and service. Definitely will be back!!!

La comida muy buena, el servicio regular. Me pareció que los “sides” están mal escogidos, yo pedí Tuna Frites venia con papas a la francesa un plato tan delicioso acompañado de papas fritas no me parece bien. Gracias
