Come to Balmoral for the traditional Sunday Roasts, offered all day on Sundays. Choose from lamb, chicken, beef, salmon and stuffed pepper. Served with soup or salad, roast potato, butter mashed potato, Highland herb pudding and rich gravy. Plus garden peas, honey carrots, cauliflower with cheese sauce and green beans. This is how they do it across the British Isles. Served until we sell out — and we sell out often. They were not very busy, however, we had really slow service. The food was very good and the atmosphere is very warm and comfortable. Our waiter was very friendly just very slow service. Otherwise it was an enjoyable evening.Is this helpful?

Two appetizers and 2 martinis and 2 wines and 4 beers $160….who can eat a dinner? It might be worth it, but it’s not. So many better choices in the area. We were 4 people and we couldn’t even talk to each other because it was so loud. We were screaming like we were in a bar. There are so many other way cool restaurants nearby. I ordered the fish and chips. Very good. But again, you can go across the street and get the exact same fish and fries for $18…at Balmoral, I paid $34. Why? My husband ordered the duck legs, and he said they were not very good, but he did say the mashed potatoes were amazing. We most likely will not go back.Is this helpful?

The food was very good and the ambience was great. We went because we had a gift certificate but we would definitely go back for a special occasion. The bagpipe player was a cool touch as well as the Bone China place settings and crystal glassware. It made for a unique dining experience. The bread was awesome!Is this helpful?

Balmoral is such a special place. The food is delicious. The service is top-notch. This is it was our third time eating here and it’s never disappointed. The salmon, the beef Wellington, the drinks everything was perfect, perfectly executed and delicious and the service is a true dining experience.Is this helpful?

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Balmoral, and as usual they did not disappoint. The Scottish experience began with the familiar bagpiper at the door. The restaurant decor, rustic furniture, staff uniforms, and fine china all provided an air of old world authenticity that we have not found elsewhere this side of the pond. The “bevvy” menu featured a wide array of drink options, including of course an extensive selection of scotch whiskey. I was in the mood for a pub dish and ordered the Bangers and Mash, a hearty plate served with a side of broccolini. I immediately decided this will be my new go-to. My wife’s roasted salmon was moist and delicious with just the right amount of citrus and spice. We will certainly be back!Is this helpful?
