Not really a steakhouse. Poor service and not great culinary execution of rudimentary preparations. It’s a place to be seen and they could learn many lessons from say a Chicago steakhouse or even a few local ones. I have been several times and I only go back because friends who have never been insist. It’s a miss and a horrid place to try to socialize. You can never hear yourself think or hear your guests. Beyond bad acoustics. Poor cocktails (uninventive and cheaply made). Wait staff can’t follow an instruction (like please bring this wine with mains). Barking dog in lap next to us. Cuts are okay, nothing special. Sides are meh. I have heard brunch is the only reason to go but I am clearly in the minority. Just not worth my time anymore. Will not return. Totally unimpressive. And they can’t afford to fix the loose plumbing fixtures in the men’s bath (been broken for months). Truly the worst “steakhouse” I have ever had in Los Angeles. See ya!

From our warm welcome from Frank at front of house to the amazing service of Jose and all service staff, we experienced an amazing evening at Baltaire! Every detail was on point! Highly recommend Baltaire for a special evening or a romantic dinner!

We attended the Sunday DJ Brunch for my birthday and it was a vibe! The food, the drinks, the service, and the ambience was a 10/10. The Bloody Mary cart was nothing like I’ve ever seen. Did a caviar bump for the first time. Great experience for birthdays or a girls brunch or any occasion.
