Food was good but the portions are very small for what you pay. We had the set Xmas menu, it's €80 pp but then all the sides are €7 so you have to pay extra. The steak is only 7oz and the venison is even smaller. Service and restaurant was really good just a shame about having to pay extra and portion size.

I was used to going to Bang for client lunches and work gatherings over the years. This time, we went for a little festive dinner with our two daughters (age 6 and 8) and everything from start to finish was just gorgeous. Delicious food, excellent wine and a really lovely relaxed atmosphere and interior in the dining room upstairs. The icing on the cake was definitely the excellent service. Professional and really lovely, friendly staff, who were so kind and fun with the kids too. We’ll be back for sure. Thanks guys! X

I really enjoyed Bang. I had lunch for two on Friday 20th December. . The food and service very good. I must say I have been to other restaurants at Christmas time and the food was terrible, and over priced.. and service bad. I would certainly recommend Bang. And I will be back. Sandra I

Good buzz waiter very nice but our table setting was pretty bad no light way too dark and no apology lights broken not working

Hi Susan, We are so sorry the lights broke just before your arrival - the 3 lights in the alcove are on the same connection hence why 3 lights were out - we made sure to add in lamps as soon as it happened and the lights were repaired first thing the following morning. We are so sorry this upset you. it was out of our control unfortunately. We should have apologised, we are very sorry

We celebrated my partners birthday at Bang this weekend and from the minute we entered the restaurant, the team were attentive, kind and full of fun. The food was excellent, a big shout out for the Guinness bread. The service from Dominic was second to none. We both would highly recommend

Lovely food and very good service. Would recommend for a group booking. No rush on giving the table back and they catered for one of our group who was a coeliac. Woukd highly recommend..

We had a superb dinner, the food was outstanding and our waiter from Rome was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Bang as a top destination for a great meal in lovely surroundings.

Great buzz about the place when we arrived and were shown straight to our table. Lovely friendly greeting from our waiter Dominik. Fab range of dishes on the menu. We chose the venison and the mushroom risotto. Both were delicious as was the bread. We shared a caramel tart which was smooth, tasty and not overly sweet. A fantastic ending to a great meal. Would be giving BANG! a 5 /5 except for as the night progressed all the tables filled (which was great to see) but the noise level became uncomfortable and conversation all but impossible. More soft furnishings to improve the acoustics and our evening would have been perfect.
