   The food was tasty. A couple misses, but we probably tried at least 12 things between us, so that’s not bad. Definitely more lunch than brunch. Service was a little slow due to understaffing, but they tried hard to fill the gap and check on everyone. It was quite loud. The music was not too loud, but poor acoustics made voices echo everywhere.

   You can't beat $1 dumplings and half priced cocktails. However, in an effort to get ahead of the rush, the dumplings are pre-made and the cocktails are batched. The dough was a little gooey and overdone and the dumplings tasted like they had been sitting awhile. My drink tasted like it had turned, but the server gladly brought me something else which was delicious. The entrees we ordered were delicious but did take a bit longer to come out, obviously. Overall I would recommend BC, as long as you have a reservation.

   I had a great experience with the hiccups I had getting there. STAFF was amazing and gave us some extra time for dinner. The food was amazing, and the Matcha Creme Brulee is a must if you go.

   Service was unusually subpar this day. It took 40 minutes from when we sat down to get our first mimosa. Food was also really slow coming out. I come here often and this was out of character for them but does make me hesitant on returning for brunch.

   We had a good time at Bar Chinois. Food is delicious and the service is excellent. We will definitely go back there again.

   food was ok cocktails were bad but price was decent for happy hour. bao buns were burnt to bits - would not recommend but the steamed dumplings were good along with the crab rangoon.
