    The overall experience was rather unsatisfactory. I had made a reservation weeks in advance to celebrate my 50th birthday, yet I was seated next to the kitchen doors, resulting in constant foot traffic from the staff. When I requested a candle, the waiter responded as if he were doing me a favor rather than fulfilling a simple request. The seating was uncomfortable, and the music volume was excessive. Ultimately, the occasion turned out to be the complete opposite of what I had envisioned for my milestone birthday.

    Gorgeous setting (very old world clubby, in a historic former mansion), spectacular food. Top notch service. Pricey, but not at all pretentious. Great for special occasions.

    We were a group of 7 mostly family. All adults. We had an amazing food and wine experience. The beef Wellington and lobster risotto were delicious. Our server was so knowledgeable about the food and wine - and incredibly helpful. Our only disappointment was that we had arrived hoping to share the t bone steak and fish but the steak was not available - the recommendation from our server for the beef Wellington and risotto definitely exceeded expectations. Would highly recommend!

    Beautiful experience all around. Fantastic atmosphere and low lit mood lighting made you feel cozy and comfortable. Very approachable menu and our server was top notch.

    What a delight! I came in for my birthday lunch! Visiting Montreal solo for a few days and this place did not disappoint! Sparkling water and steak tartare to start, then the beef Bourguignon and a side of focaccia bread and a Pinot noir. Finished off the experience with a Kir Imperial ( similar to Kir royale)! The waiter was fantastic and did not rush me, as I sat and enjoyed my drink and read a book for a bit. What a special gem!
