   Our experience at Bar Goa had its highs and lows. Let’s start with the positives: The ambiance is stylish, and the food tasted great. However, several issues kept this from being a great night. The not-so-good: - A 4% “restaurant surcharge” was added on top of the automatic 20% gratuity. While they removed it after we asked, it felt sneaky for a $515 dinner (for six). Transparency matters! - Dishes are small and not “sharing-friendly” as implied, especially for the price. Manage expectations accordingly. - Uncomfortable, wobbly tables ruined the vibe—hard to relax during a pricey meal. - The online menu could be improved. The images were hidden, making it hard to visualize dishes or plan orders. Bar Goa has potential, but the value feels off. For a high-end spot, the execution (small portions, confusing fees, uncomfortable seating) doesn’t justify the cost. We’d return for drinks/wine, but likely not for dinner. Proceed with caution!

   The food was delicious and so were our drinks! Our server was also very nice and patient with my friend and I as we took ages to decide on what to order :) This was my third time in and I’ll definitely be back! The fish curry was so good (got a side of garlic naan) and my friend ordered the chicken tikka flatbread which she enjoyed. Also shared the fried shrimp to start and it wonderful!

   Food tasted average, service was slow. We were kicked out of our table for sitting too long while we were having dinner just because they had reservations and didn’t have enough tables to accommodate them.

   Chili paneer costing was overcooked. Drinks were good. Dessert saffron cake and kulfi were great! Good portions of food. Waitress very energetic, but noise level high.

   Had a fantastic experience. our group was celebrating a couple of birthday's. Food was excellent, the DJ was amazing. Service was great.

   The food was great, service was excellent too. But very irresponsible of the management to not post anything on their website that there will NOT be a Bollywood DJ night on Valentine’s Day when they specify that Friday’s and Saturday’s are DJ nights on their website. That is misleading information! We reserved a late table to experience the Bollywood music only to find out that they won’t do that on Valentine’s Day which was on a Friday! Also, the management needs to better prepare of train their front desk staff who attends calls and makes reservations. She was rude, she didn’t bother to get the entrance area cleaned by someone when I told her that the floor so slippery from all the snow and muck that people bring in. The restaurant needs to be more respectful and responsible to the customers who decide not to cancel their reservation when the weather is so bad.

   Hello Niyati, Apologize for your experience with the host. We will definitely talk to the team about that. The website was updated in January stating that we would not have a Dj through restaurant week and on Valentines day on the music page.
