   Great food and variety. On the spicy side (make sure that works for all members of your party). Would definitely return.

   Final check included 20% gratuity. Server did not mention this. The final receipt had a section where we could add 20%-25% gratuity…on top of the 20% gratuity already included. We confronted the owner about it and he shirked it off as a ‘technical error’. I wonder how many people are paying 40% tip who dine here and don’t look closely at the bill.

   We were able to get in quickly, the server was efficient, friendly and not intrusive. The food was delicious. We left feeling satisfied not stuffed!

   Food was excellent! Service was very poor. Our server was not very friendly, waited 10-15 to get our drinks, she failed to tell us that rice and naan bread was not included with our meal and an additional charge. We were seated next to a group of 4 ladies, one of them was talking extremely and unnecessarily loud, it was really annoying so we moved literally 2 feet away to another 2 top. Our server was upset about it and gave us attitude saying we had to leave at 7:15 because another reservation needed it. It wasn’t even that busy and there was no reason the other reservation couldn’t have sat at the table we were at which was another 2 top 2 feet away… After that, the server was just rude to us. She took 20 minutes to notice we were done with our food and needed boxes and the check. I would come back, but ONLY for the food. I serve as well so I know what good service looks like and this was not it.

   Another excellent experience. We have been here a few times and have enjoyed every single time. I like that their menu is always changing with introduction of new dishes and everything is delicious. The service is outstanding. Highly recommend this and their other restaurants Rooh and Monarch & Lion.

    We have been regulars at Bar Goa and visit whenever in town. Great food and drink selection and outstanding service and personalized attention by manager are enjoyable. We sometimes visit at happy hour if we are in the area where you get good selection of food and drinks and we stay over after that to enjoy regular menu items. Mushroom fried rice, shrimp koliwada are tasty. Butter chicken sliders were also very tasty. Two areas improvement is needed because of which I gave 4 star rating instead of 5 but hopefully they correct these concerns so that next time I could rate them 5 again. 1. Temperature of food was not right this time. Servers should bring to the table right when it is ready. When we wenet, the place was not that busy so there was no excuse. 2. A regular problem is with their billing system where prices of some drink items you will see on your check will be higher than what is in the menu. I is different every time. Mentioning a couple of examples here. For example, a few days ago, they charged $2 extra for ice when we asked for whisky on the rocks and were told that they are charging for ice! If they would have mentioned that upfront or in the menu, we would not have ordered ice block. Never seen any bar doing that! Whereas another time when we ordered whisky 'without' ice, they charged $1 more (once again no mention in the menu or upfront) and when we questioned, we were told that they charge that if you order 'neat'! That was once again weird! Which bar would charge a dollar extra for serving a spirit neat! Anyway, this puts customers and waiters in awkward position. Manager came to help both of the times and corrected but they should correct the system, we dont believe it is deliberate but some customers would think that as deceptive. Apart from that, Bar Goa is a great place to enjoy and look forward to visiting again while in town next time.
