   My wife and I ordered the tasting dinner with the wine pairing. Server gave us the following menu: Fried oysters on top of a lovely relish Steak tartare with homemade potato chips Cavatelli with mushroom ragu Dover sole Chocolate trio All dishes were beautiful and delicious. Wine pairings were well matched with each course. Service was attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant offered us a glass of cava for my wife’s birthday (nice touch). No valet parking , but the restaurant has its own parking lot across the street (free). Ambiance was modern hip, but we could easily have a conversation. Highly recommend

   Ryan provided great service. He was friendly and patient to explain things and answer our questions. The beet salad with Gouda cheese and sunflower seeds was awesome. Also, the brussell sprouts and steak entree tasted great. It was so nice, we returned 8 days later and brought a friend.

   Great food, service and ambiance! Only gave 4 stars for ambiance because the tables were very close together, made it hard to have a conversation due to noise and lack of privacy.

   Kevin was amazing, did a great job and his knowledge of the menu was extensive. He shared with us the Story of the bar and how his dreams came together when they put the place together. They also have a world class bartending staff and craft cocktails are exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the items we ordered from the dinner menu.

    Bar Pigalle is a beautiful, unique space, and on paper, the menu is great. We really looked forward to it and wanted to love it. When first seated, we were already talking about coming back, it seemed so perfect. A sure sign of trouble arose when, after specifically discussing how to course out the several items we planned to share, the two meat dishes came out immediately together. It went downhill from there, as the duck confit was literally the worst we have ever had, and we have duck confit a lot, a favorite that we will almost always choose whenever it is on a menu. This was so awful, we left it mostly uneaten. It's hard to ruin duck confit, given what that recipe entails. However, here, they must have soaked it in salt, and then given another good dose of salt just to be sure it had enough. In addition to just tasting like salt and nothing else, the meat was dry and tough, undoubtedly a product of all the salt. Imagine dry, tough duck confit? How does one even do that? This restaurant figured out a way!!! Tragic. And completly unacceptable. So disappointing because, again, the restaurant seems so charming and you want to love it.
