   12 ladies Christmas lunch. Quite a few had seniors meals, mainly chicken and really enjoyed it. I enjoyed Baringa Burrata bowl with Calamari which was something different and I really enjoyed it.

   Just caught up wit friends for lunch. Easy to book a table. Service was excellent staff friendly food sensational

   Baringa Tavern always provides friendly service, great variety of food and good value for money. Great location, easy parking and able to cater to a large group easily.

   Do not order the meat lovers pizza if you don’t like Prosciutto. They put it cold on top and it literally smells and tastes like dirty socks. I will say the gluten free base was super nice.

   I ordered an Aperol Spritz, the mix was not right and no slice of orange. I left half of it as it wasn’t worth drinking. I ordered the Battered Fish and chips, hardly any fish mostly batter. My brother had an assortment of entrees, the chicken skewers hardly had any chicken on it. I wouldn’t go back.

   I usually love eating at the Tavern but tonight’s meal was not the regular quality. I always order the carbonara which is usually amazing but tonight it was dry, not at all fresh and only had 3 small chunks of chicken in the whole dish. I now am in bed feeling quite sick in my stomach and wonder if it’s from tonight’s meal…. I also don’t like that there is no itemised bill - the items we ordered don’t seem to add up to what I was charged on my card… Another bit of feedback too - the icecream that comes with the kids meals are crappy (bulla icecream on a stick) and we don’t even bother getting any because my kids don’t like them… perhaps a choice of a small drink with the meal instead of an icecream if this is the only icecream on offer (at other venues like this the icecream is usually a scoop of actual icecream with a squirt of topping). The service is a bit of a hit and miss up there - some staff are fabulous and others feel like they are simply getting through their shifts. On a positive note - the wood fire pizzas are awesome! Even the kids pizzas are great - proper wood fired mini pizzas. Overall I gave a low score tonight especially as I lay here gripping at my painful tummy after multiple trips to the bathroom.

   Hi Jo. I am sorry for the delay in responding. We are sorry that you had such a poor experience and as you said it is usually good. The Group chef has spoken to the head chef to try and ensure this does not happen again. We will also look at the ice cream to see if we can come up with an alternative. We do go through a lot of those kids ice creams and most are happy with them. I have spoken to Jeremy the venue manager regarding service as we pride ourselves on high levels of service so to find it is hit and miss is a little disappointing. I hope you didn't feel ill for too long and I am sure if you decide to come and visit again you will find things much improved. Thanks. Dave.
