It's difficult to say what is most appealing about the Barking Frog - the food, the wine, the atmosphere. All of the above earned this casual bistro featuring country fresh Northwest cuisine rave reviews. Honors have included "Restaurant of the Year", "Most Innovative Wine List" and "Wine Grand Award" awards, presented by the Washington Wine Commission. Delectable dishes entice guests to linger in the light-filled dining room or to gather around the fireplace. While in the summer, lunch and dinner are served in the courtyard.

Visit our sister restaurant, Fireside Lounge, take a more relaxed approach to you day with friends and fellow guests. Serving seasonal cocktails and casual bites. Daily happy hour from 3-5:30pm. Live music during the week.

    Great service must have a new chef as the menu has a Japanese flair and was not what I was expecting. I had the salmon and it was more like sushi than a salmon dinner

    So so good! The Copper River salmon was just crazy good, as was the halibut. Service from Kalil was just right - professional, knowledgeable, gracious and fun. A really great experience.

    We celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary and the staff made our time very special! We had the Copper River Salmon tasting menu. 4 courses, all spectacular. We usually don’t get tasting menus because they can be too much…this amount was perfect. We also had a 2005 bottle of Cristom Pinot Noir, recommended by the sommelier…it was fantastic as well. What a delightful evening, thank you very much. We will return!

    Overall, this was excellent - just a bit on the pricey side! Crudo was delicious and the chicken/risotto dish was just what I needed. Appetizer, least expensive entree, two glasses of Alberino and $140....

    The best dishes came out first (sharables) and the not as impressive dishes came out last (mains). For the price, I wasn't super impressed but the food was good.

    Chose the Barking Frog for a stay-cation belated birthday lunch celebration! So glad I did. Worked perfectly, felt like we were in the heart of wine country, relaxed, great food, fantastic service and friendly/comfortable attire and seating.
