   This is definitely the "Crown Jewel" of the restaurant holdings of these locally owned establishments. After visiting numerous times, we confidently place it in our top 5 choices for a great meal. With a menu that updates monthly, we are always amazed at the creativity and attention to detail. Such fun sitting at the chef's counter and watching just how much attention to presentation is taken.    Everything was amazing!! We absolutely love the ribs!!! I ordered the chicken and it was cooked to perfection. We love going here at least once a month. So glad we have something like this in Atascadero.

   I had an incredible experience at Barley and Boar in Atascadero! I started with the bread and butter, which may sound simple, but it’s anything but ordinary here. They serve freshly made, homemade bread daily, paired with local honey and a delicious twist that makes it a standout dish. Then, I had the ribs as an appetizer—wow, they were fantastic! Tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, they were the perfect prelude to the main event: the burger. Honestly, it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the quality was top-notch. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was friendly and attentive. I had such a great time, and I highly recommend checking out Barley and Boar for yourself. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit!

   Great experience while visiting from Los Angeles. We were given a perfect tender bite of salmon by the chef as we sat at the bar facing the kitchen. We ordered the excellent Fried Green Tomatoes, these were so good. For main courses, we shared The Boar shoulder and The Bloom gnocchi dish. The boar was unbelievably tender, melting in your mouth with the street corn risotto. The Bloom was fantastic with the gnocchi and talk about mushrooms!!! This was just the best experience for us visiting from L.A. Relaxed and not pushy to get on with it and move out. Our server was fantastic - she had a great attitude and friendly, never rushing us to order everything all at once. She paced it perfectly. I cannot remember her name but she was good. The wines were delicious and watching the chef repertoire working so hard was a great experience. Thanks for making our last night of vacation so good!

   They do an excellent job with their meat dishes, but I don’t eat meat so I often order the vegetarian option, there’s only one. It’s usually pretty bad. But the ambience and the staff are amazing, cocktails are pretty good so I keep going back.

   Another 5 stars for B&B and for Darci the world's greatest server. We love this place and dine there as often as we can. Thanks for giving us great birthdays, great anniversaries and great friends nights. We will definitely be back soon.

    Food is amazing as are the cocktails. Counter seating is our favorite. Watching the kitchen staff work their magic is fun and they always surprise us with an extra bit of something special not on the menu! Wait staff are helpful, friendly but not intrusive.
