It was a slow evening for the restaurant so I couldn’t tell how the service would be when busier. Over though the service and food were good.

We started out with the smoke Old Fashions and they were delicious. I had the pulled chicken sandwich- it was okay. My husband had the sloppy Joe and he said it was delicious. We sat outside on a. Eautiful night and listened to some great music!

The food was much better than we expected. We had the sloppy joe and the cuban sandwich. Collard greens as a side. All were great!

Overall it’s a fine place. I will say the ambiance is kind of “off.” It’s hard to tell if is super casual, fine dining, or something in between. All the food is served on very plain looking plates, not a lot of effort goes into the plating, so I’m guessing they see themselves as more casual. That being said, the brisket was excellent!

We wanted to sit outside. It's our favorite place. But there was a man and woman performing 'music' out there. It was awful. I'm sorry, but they were SO bad. And in that small an area, why did they have amps? It should be background music to people chatting and drinking and eating. You couldn't hear a damn thing out there and they were so bad.... off key etc. We had to go inside which isn't where we wanted to be at all
