Great food. Great vibe! We did shared plates and they were all amazing. The artichoke dip is a must and the tuna nachos are great.

We are locals and historically love Barrows house. Sadly, tonight was disappointing. Our server was alone serving all the tables as far as we could tell and was understandably overwhelmed- but why accept so many reservations if you are understaffed? Everything was a long wait- drinks, food. The Caesar salad was warm and overdressed. The artichoke dip was heavy and the crostini it’s served with breaks as you try to scoop it up. The salmon tasted like it was a couple days too old. The flatbread special was overly cheesy and lacking in flavor. It just seems like the food has gone considerably down hill as compared to our previous visits. As we were finishing up our meal, the server and hostess were turning off candle Lights on the tables adjacent to us. All In all, for the very high prices, it felt like a below average experience in every way. Cocktails were good and server did the best he could under the circumstances. Hope this was just a bad night for Barrows.

Honestly I love the Barrows but all of our meals last night were incredibly salty to the pouring y today where we are all still fighting feeling sick. The service was amazing per usual but they need to cut back on the amount of salt in the entrees. Just too much.

We’ve dined at Barrows House many times. Always a favorite until last night. I know it was New Years Eve, but the food was served cold. We were there 2.5 hours due to very slow food coming from kitchen. The people seated next to us arrived 30 minutes after us and left 30 minutes before us with seemingly the same 4 course meal. Their entrees arrived well before ours. The noise from the entertainment was too loud to attempt conversation and frankly the male vocalist was awful. All in all for $120 per person it was a complete rip off. Very disappointing.
