Basilico is one of my favorite restaurants (and that's saying something in Las Vegas with all of the options we have available). The food is delicious, it has a fun atmosphere, and the service is impeccable.

However, we do offer classics like Beef Carpaccio, Spaghetti, Gnocchi, and Branzino. We hope you join us again, perhaps for Social Hour, on Wednesdays to Sundays from 4pm - 6pm.

Lovely evening on the nicely heated patio. Music filtering thru from the main dining room easily chat and hear the person across the table. Service spot on, attentive.

Presentation of the food was amazing. Ambiance we loved. Short ribs were amazing. Our bartender had zero personality and will most likely be the reason we don’t go back or if we do go back we won’t sit at the bar.

The "girls night" was amazing! However, since we ate outside on the terrace, the music coming from the bar behind us was a little louder than our comfort level. But since there was live music, which we appreciate, it wasn't any better inside either-- just maybe a little tweak on volume would be helpful.

Basilico occasionally hosts special event dinners; this one spotlighted Caymus Vineyards. For a bit over $200 (base price, booking fee, tax, and autograt), diners enjoyed a four course, six plate meal from Chef Francesco Di Caudo united with five Caymus wines chosen for this event. Allow me to state that not every dish served agreed with my palate. But four out of the six did in a spectacular way. One, the Scallop Crudo, looks to be on the daily menu; I can only hope that some version of the others (venison, quail&fig risotto, sour cream gelato) eventually makes their way onto the daily menu. The wine pairings from Caymus were on point and the pours were not stingy. The bottled water was not included with the dinner, so I unwittingly got zinged for $9, plus 20% autograt to boot. Ouch. My fault for forgetting the magic word "tap". Service was very pleasant. Atmosphere was modern elegance, cosy, and further enhanced by the talents of live singer Michael Ross Nugent.
